This kitchen was thoughtfully designed as an addition to an existing cottage, with the goal of feeling both new and seamlessly connected to the original home. Custom cabinetry in a mix of warm natural wood and deep green tones creates a timeless palette that ties into the surrounding landscape. Large windows frame the outdoors, bringing in natural light while enhancing the cottage’s connection to nature. A central island anchors the room, offering both functionality and a welcoming gathering space. Layered details—such as textural finishes, handcrafted lighting, and refined hardware—bring depth and character, creating a kitchen that feels elevated yet relaxed, perfectly suited for lakeside living.
